XFAN CZ - English

   Welcome to the part of my Xena site, which is (unlike the rest of this site) in English. The rest of this site is written in Czech cause Czech Republic is the state I live in and I want to provide information about Xena to those of my countrymen who don't know English.
   This English part IS NOT a translation of the Czech one. I wrote this English part to inform those of you living "out there", how the things are going on with Xena here - and also at Slovakia, the other part of former Czechoslovakia.

   Xena and Hercules are aired by TV NOVA at Czech Republic and by TV MARKIZA at Slovakia.
   At Czech Republic there were aired all six seasons of Xena; there were aired also all six seasons of Hercules and of course all the movies. Young Hercules and some episodes of Back2Back Action were aired too (those including both Cleopatra 2525 and Jack Of All Trades).
   At Slovakia there were aired five seasons of Xena (1, 2, 3, 4 and 5) and four seasons of Hercules (seasons 1, 2, 3 and 4) as far as I know.
    Xena is aired in Czech (on both TVs), Hercules is aired in Czech on TV NOVA and in Slovak on TV MARKIZA. Young Hercules and Back2Back were aired of course in Czech.

   These days the hardcore fans are of course watching only the DVDs (both region 2 and region 1 editions), finally with original voices of the cast :-)

   So this is the general situation ...

Photos from ISTROCON 2000, a convention, that took place in Bratislava (capital of Slovakia) from September 15 to 17 of year 2000 and Ted Raimi was The Guest (I've heard later he liked it very much ;-)) ).
We held a little xena convention on August 2002. We also did it in 2003 and 2004, and we hope to have another in 2005.
